After reading the 10 Day Wheat Belly Detox for myself and taking a few days to prep the kids mentally, my first major step was cleaning the grains out of the house. This also included most sugar as well. A big garbage bag of food donation when to the church for the food pantry. Funny the foods that we find ourselves emotionally tied to. A favorite type of snack bar, the ingredients for s'mores, etc. Thankfully I have had such positive results that I know the end result is worth forcing myself to change. I am still struggling to wrap my brain around a new way of organizing my shelves for a grain free kitchen, but I will post when I get there.
